Your Eye to the Digital Word – LCD Display, Projector, and Palmtop Projector
Brands from Taiwan are not only of top quality, but also provide the customers with the latest technology. For example, multi touch or 3D display, Taiwanese brand products always provides these solutions in timely fashion. Taiwanese ODM/OEM providers account for 71.3% of the global LCD monitor production, and LCD TV production is predicted to reach 31% in 2011. Taiwanese companies have also been quite successful at developing their own brands going beyond ODM/OEM.
Taiwanese LCD display manufacturers have adopted a range of “green” initiatives. In the second half of 2009, leading Taiwanese LCD display manufacturer BenQ launched onto the global market five new LED monitor models. All of the products in this new series use slim, lightweight, energy-saving LED backlit panels. The LED panels contain no mercury, so there is no risk of water pollution; the monitors are sturdy and reliable, reducing the need for repair and replacement. Also the ultra-slim 2.1-cm monitor body makes it possible to streamline the overall packaging. 80% of the packaging materials are made from recycled paper, and non-painted, non-printed material has been used for the body of the monitor, making it possible to recycle the whole product after use. 28% of the plastic used in manufacturing the monitors is of recycled material, which also helps to save our global resources.
