About IMC Project

OBJECTIVE

In order to boost the international brand image and reputation of Taiwan and its dynamic industries in the global business arena, as well as facilitate Taiwanese enterprises in the development of their own international brands, Bureau of Foreign Trade, MOEA, Taiwan, R.O.C. has entrusted Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) to spearhead its brand development and promotion mission through the establishment of an Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) team, officially launched on March 31, 2010.

Since its inception, the IMC team has been actively introducing the IMC project and promoting Taiwan Excellence in targeted overseas markets, utilizing B2C and effective B2B sales channels in realizing its mission.

   

CONCEPT

Taiwan Excellence, which represents Taiwan’s ingenuity in product and technological innovation, is the global image which the IMC project is striving to promote. Such excellence is radiated in many of Taiwan’s niche industries, particularly the ICT industry, of which many have become renowned brands in their field.

The IMC has especially selected 35 Taiwan ICT brands for the IMC project, and together, they shall represent and work with Taiwan Excellence in enhancing the image of the industry and the country.

KEY MESSAGE & SLOGAN

“Effectivity”, “Industry Integration”, and “Core Selling Points” are the major elements and strategies which the IMC project is adopting to represent Taiwan’s global image. Through selected overseas sales channels, the IMC project shall be promoting Taiwan Excellence under the principles of “Reliable”, “Innovative”, and “Worthy”.

There’s more to Taiwan Excellence than just the outstanding technological innovation that it has been known for. It aspires to go beyond and touch people in ways that could make their lives more satisfying. It intends to make every person’s lifestyle - in the true sense of the word - “excellent”. The slogan “Excellent Lifestyles” therefore echoes the heart’s desire for an exceptional way of life. It hopes to enhance the living standard of every home and family, regardless of age, race, or identity, and bring a fulfillment as well as satisfaction which today’s consumers are looking for.

Taiwan’s ICT industry, of which is renowned and successful in the global markets, produces the products that motivate consumers not only to stay fit and healthy, but they enable people from all walks of life to stay closely connected in this highly-competitive world with ever-changing demands.
